How it all started
Whenever I (Patrick Houweling) browsed freeware sites for programs, I found myself spending a lot of time going
through all the descriptions, picking a program, installing it and often deleting it again,
because it wasn't satisfactory. Picking another program, etc. For example, looking for a notepad replacement, I was confronted with over 20 text editors, all
pretending to do the job. I thought "wouldn't it be nice if there was a freeware site
only presenting the best editor...."
So, that's the idea of OnlyTheBestFreeware:
instead of listing 20 editors, I only show you the best editor. Well, the 'best' according to me
of course, but I hope you'll agree (if not, just let
me know!). The list is steadily growing. So, if you didn't find what you were looking
for, just come back later.
